APS FEDRA helps production schedulers & capacity planners to manage production orders, considering imposed target dates and real-world constraints, such as primary machine/workplace capacity, tools/material availability as well as staff headcount & qualification.
Scheduling action happens through drag & drop and in automatic planning mode. Different strategies can be considered, depending on actual requirement at that time, including integration of AI-based planning procedures.
The FEDRA schedule can build the To-Do sequence for shop floor execution in HYDRA X or other shop floor systems.
The FEDRA schedule is updated in real time through an actual shop floor feedback loop. This feedback can come from MES HYDRA X or from other external shop floor applications, on the basis of the MIP – Manufacturing Integration Platform.
With FEDRA, the planning department thus stays in permanent control of the production schedule.
